Bridge Weekend at the
WHATelY HALL HOTEL, BANBURY
20th
– 22nd MARCH 2009
We are pleased to be
returning to this charming 17th Century hotel that everybody
raved about at our visit earlier this year. The hotel is steeped with
character and boasts fantastic food and service. We’re sure you will have a
wonderful time. The bridge playing rooms overlook lovely gardens and there is a
croquet lawn for additional entertainment.
The weekend begins with a
welcome reception on Friday evening, followed by dinner and bridge. We offer 4
sessions of duplicate or supervised bridge during your stay plus the popular
morning seminars with Neil Rosen. The weekend comes to a close with a
prize-giving ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
There will be time to explore
the town or venture further afield. The hotel is
situated in the heart of Banbury Cross with the shops and walks only a stones
throw away. Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Oxford and
Bicester shopping outlet are all within a half hour drive.
Banbury is less than two
hours from London. Ace Holidays will be organising a return coach for those not
wishing to drive. Return coach fare is £40.
The
weekend runs from Friday evening to Sunday and is full board.
EARLYBIRD OFFER:- For bookings and deposits received by
December 15th 2008, the price per person sharing a twin or double
room is £215. Limited number of small single rooms at £215 – (will go quickly).
Single occupancy of a twin or double is £245. Upgrades available: Executive
Double £240 per person (2 people sharing) and Suites £275 per person (2 people
sharing). (For deposits received
after December 15th 2008 all prices will be £30 per person
more.)
